SMS Terms

These terms cover Phalanx staff text messages, an optional application notification program operated by Mascolo Solutions LLC. Phalanx is a claims management application for claims teams. Text messages are sent only to staff users who opt in.

What the program sends

Automated work notifications from Phalanx about your work: task assignments, reminders about work that is due, and activity on claim files you are involved with. This initial program does not include marketing or client text messages. Examples:

• “Phalanx: You were assigned a task — “Review roof estimate” — by a team member”
• “Phalanx: Still waiting: Signed proof of loss”

How you opt in

Opt-in happens only inside your authenticated Phalanx account. Add your own mobile number under Settings → Profile, then under Settings → Notifications turn on Staff text messages and save your preferences. The switch is off by default. Nobody can opt you in on your behalf, and visiting a web page does not subscribe you.

Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of purchase or of using Phalanx. Everything the texts tell you is also available in the application and by email.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with your work activity. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Delivery depends on your carrier and is not guaranteed; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your Phalanx account remains the authoritative place to check current work.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You may receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing further. You can also turn off Staff text messages in Settings → Notifications and save. Stopping texts does not affect your Phalanx account or your email notifications.

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, email support@phalanxcrm.com. Mascolo Solutions LLC operates and supports Phalanx; you can also ask your organization’s administrator.

Your number and privacy

Your mobile number and your SMS consent are used only to deliver the notifications you chose. They are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The messaging provider processes them to deliver the texts. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

If the program changes in a way that matters to you, the date at the top of this page will change and the disclosure beside the Settings switch will be updated. Continuing to keep Staff text messages on after a change means you accept the updated terms.
